TEENS' MARIJUANA USE ROSE, SURVEY INDICATES

After gradually declining during the 1980s, teen-age use of marijuana increased nearly 16 percent last year, a drug prevention group said Tuesday.

Nineteen percent of high school students surveyed said they used marijuana at least once in the 1992-93 school year, up from the 16.4 percent who said they had used it the previous year, said the National Parents' Resource Institute for Drug Education - or PRIDE.
