25TH FINCASTLE FESTIVAL PLANNED THIS WEEKEND

The 25th annual Fincastle Festival will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12:30 to 6 p.m.

Among the events planned are a silent auction, an art show and sale, a book fair, a quilt and needlework show, storytelling for preschool through second-grade students, voter registration on Saturday, and a Sunday performance by the Botetourt Chorus.

A shuttle bus will operate from several parking areas throughout the town on both days, and there will be an information booth at the courthouse corner.
