OBIT GARNER, VERA LOU

GARNER, Vera Lou, 83, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 1993. Survivors include a son, Robert Cotton; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Harry Copeland; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Lillie Muse and Alma Thompson, all of Roanoke, Elizabeth and Cossie English, Alexandria, Va.; granddaughter, Ann Brown, Laurel, Md.; three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. Bibleway, Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Christ with Elder Robert K. Ingram officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church. The remains will be placed in the church 4 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
