Roanoke College's business administration and economics department is taking nominations for its 1994 Management Institute program. The 11-week program, starting Jan. 20, is meant to help mid- and upper-level managers identify future leaders. For details, call 375-2206.

\ Highland Mortgage Co. of Richmond said it has provided $2.47 million to refinance a 72-unit phase of the Foxridge Apartments in Blacksburg. The loan was insured by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department. The complex is managed by Snyder-Hunt Property Management Inc.

\ The Branch Group Inc. of Roanoke has bought the assets of Interstate Electric Supply Co. Inc. of Chantilly. F. James Carr, president of Interstate, will continue to operate the Interstate sites in 11 localities in Maryland and Virginia, including Roanoke and Lynchburg.
