OBIT MEADORS, ROBERT JAMES JR.

MEADORS, Robert James Jr., 65, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday morning, September 30, 1993, at Roanoke Memorial Cancer Center. He worked as a painter for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Furrow Meadors; one daughter, Diane M. Mask, Roanoke; two sons, Robert Wayne Meadors, Roanoke; and the Rev. Larry Dale Meadors, Pilot; five grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma M. Terry, Newport News, Pearl M. Wells, Roanoke, Patricia M. Kelley, Salem; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 2, with the Rev. Walter L. Woods officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
