OBIT PURVIS, CHARLES MILO

PURVIS, Charles Milo, 83, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, September 29, 1993. He is survived by his stepsons and daughters-in-law, Elmer R. and Elva Steele, Silas L. and Nancy Steele; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Lutitia and Arthur Meador, all of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 1 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Rev. William A. Barnes. Funeral arrangements are being handling by the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
