FIKE-PATTERSON

Stacey Lorraine Patterson and Matthew Philip Fike were married October 2, 1993, in Hollins College duPont Chapel with the Reverend David Yingling officiating. The reception was held in the Green Drawing Room at Hollins College. The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her grandfather.

The maid of honor was Amy Patterson, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Woodfin and Julia Page, friends of the bride. The best man was Rob Germain. The ushers were Pat Mitchell and Mike Carr, all friends of the groom.

The wedding was directed by Sharon Franklin, aunt of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Cheryl Armstrong, friend of the bride. Wedding music was provided by Jim Leland organist, and Carl Fike soloist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Wrobel and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence K. Franklin, all of Blue Ridge. She is a graduate of Ferrum College and is the Coordinator of Social Work Services at Montgomery Regional Hospital. The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Rogers Fike of Oakland, Maryland. He is a graduate of Bridgewater College and is the pastor of Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren.

After the wedding trip, the couple will live in Blue Ridge.
