POWELL-GROSE

On Saturday, August 21st, Monica Anne Grose and Daniel Michael Powell were married during a 4 o'clock ceremony at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Little Falls, New York. A reception followed in Herkimer, New York. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Grose, Jr., of Little Falls. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel L. Powell, of Roanoke.

The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend David Blank. The maid of honor was Marnie Salisbury, and the best man was Steven Ross, both of Fairfax, Virginia. Attendants included Vicki and Stephanie Grose, sisters of the bride, Maria DeLorenzo, Deb LaVallee, Joshua Levy, Steven Pionke, Randall Sperger, and James Smither.

The bride is a graduate of Little Falls High School and Utica College of Syracuse University, and is currently employed as a systems engineer at the MITRE Corporation in McLean, Virginia. The groom, a graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Roanoke College, and the University of Virginia, is an environmental protection specialist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Technology Innovation Office in Washington, D.C.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia, West Indies, before returning to their residence in Falls Church, Virginia.
