Sherri Lynn Hixon and Michael Grant Shell were married September 11, 1993, in Lynn Haven Baptist Church with JayOwens officiating. The reception was held at the church. The bridesmaids were Ms. Anne Marie Shell and Mrs. Sharon Fisher, both sisters of the groom. The best man was Carl Shell, father of the groom. The usher was Mr. Mark Shell, brother of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hixon, Jr. ofChristiansburg. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and isemployed by Meadowbrook Nursing Home. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shell of Vinton. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School and Virginia Western Community College. He isemployed by Capco.
