SALMON ANNIVERSARY

Charles and Dorothy Salmon celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary October 2, 1993. The celebration was held at The Woodmen of the World Hall and was hosted by their children and their families. The couple eloped and was married October 2, 1943, at Chesterfield, S. C. Mrs. Salmon is the former Dorothy Craig of Roanoke. The couple have four children, Skip, Diane, Joe and Mike, all of Roanoke; plus six grandchildren. Mr. Salmon is retired from the Veterans Administration, and Mrs. Salmon is retired from Roanoke County Schools. They attend Faith Assembly of God, Salem, Va.
