SOCCER-RADFORD BLANKS TOWSON STATE 4-0

Sue Williams scored 43 seconds into the game, and host Radford went on to beat Towson State 4-0 in a Big South Conference women's match. Leanne Bollinger, Melissa Belrose, and Laura Topolski also scored for Radford (9-0, 3-0).

In Buies Creek, N.C., Buffy Taddonio scored the only goal as Campbell beat Virginia Tech in a non-conference women's match. Campbell (6-4) outshot Virginia Tech (5-5) 22-6.

In Lynchburg, Andy Smith scored three goals, and Roanoke College went on to whip Lynchburg 5-0 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's match. Smith scored two of his goals in the second half for the Maroons (9-1, 5-0). Lynchburg fell to 3-8-1, 1-4.

In Ashland, Scott Milstead had three goals to lead Randolph-Macon to a 4-1 men's victory over Washington and Lee. Andy Daters had the lone goal for the Generals (3-6 overall, 2-2 Old Dominion Athletic Conference).
