OBIT SOWERS, LESLIE CLINE

SOWERS, Leslie Cline, 75, of Willis, passed away Saturday, October 2, 1993, at Radford Community Hospital. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a retired school bus driver with 41 years of service with the Floyd County Schools. Survivors include his wife, Larmie Higgs Sowers of Willis; two sons, Dwayne Leslie Sowers and Timothy Cline Sowers, both of Willis; one sister, Hazel Spence of Willis; one uncle, Archie Simmons of Floyd; one aunt, Dora Pendleton of Elliston. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Wurzburger officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association. Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd is in charge of the arrangements.
