Wilder, speaking at a two-day meeting of the Japan-U.S. Southeast Association, said Japanese companies can improve their business success in the United States by contributing more to the development of communities where they operate.
Wilder arrived Sunday in Osaka after visiting Germany. His next stop is China on Wednesday.
