WARNING SIGNS TO GET NEW COLOR SCHEME

Some of the town's traditional black-on-yellow pedestrian, school and bicycle crossing signs will take on a new look as the Public Works Department tests what it calls a "strong yellow-green color" for some of the warning signs.

Warning signs bearing the new color scheme will be tested at:

The school crossing on Toms Creek Road near Watson Avenue.

Pedestrian crossings on Turner Street near Burger King.

North Main Street near Faculty Street.

The bicycle crossing at University City Boulevard near Glade Road.

The new color will be tested through Nov. 10. Questions or comments may be directed to the Public Works Department, 961-1120.
