OBIT OWENS, BEULAH N.

OWENS, Beulah N., 87, of Marion, died Sunday evening, October 3, 1993, in the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. She was a long time member of the Pleasant Hill Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Owens. Survivors include three sons, Roy Owens, Ralph Owens and Elmer Owens, all of Groseclose, Va.; one daughter, Opal Owens Keith, Atkins, one brother, John E. Norman, Catawba; one sister, Allie N. Sexton, Buchanan; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Barnett's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Ed Schaach officiating, assisted by Vicar Barbara Hanson. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Barnett's Funeral Home. Barnett's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
