OBIT HALL, EDITH R. HALE
HALL, Edith R. Hale, 89, of Bent Mountain, died Thursday, October 7, 1993.
She was a member of Mount Union Church of the Brethren for many years. Mrs.
Hall was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Hall Sr., her son,
William E. Hall Jr. and a grandson, Mark J. Hall. Survivors include a son and
daughter-in-law, James W. and Mary E. Hall of Roanoke; sister, Annie Hale
Waldron of Roanoke; two brothers, Hampton Hale of Bent Mountain, Charles Hale
of Floyd; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Funeral services
will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 1993
with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge
Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the
Mount Union Church of the Brethren in her memory. The family will receive
friends at Oakey's North Chapel Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
