OBIT HENDRICK, DOROTHY MOORE
HENDRICK, Dorothy Moore, 72, of Roanoke, died Thursday, October 7, 1993, in
a local hospital. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church
and an active member and past President of the Pilot Club. Surviving are two
sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald C. Hendrick of Roanoke and John T. and
Kimberly B. Hendrick of New Castle; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca H.
Johnson of Richmond and Lynda H. and Robert M. Lyon Jr. of Roanoke; five
sisters, Sylvia Price of Blacksburg, Doise Trumbo of Durham, N.C., Ada
Harrison of Roanoke, Catherine Bloxom of Salisbury, Md. and Ruth Fleck of Blue
Ridge; four brothers, Clarence Moore, Bobby Moore, Charles Moore and Dennis
Moore, all of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Arron Hendrick,
Allison Hendrick, Preston Lyon and Robyn Lyon. Funeral services will be at
Highland Park United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, October 11, 1993,
with the Rev. Louis Timmons and the Rev. Doug Paysour officiating. The family
suggests memorial contributions be made to the Highland Park United Methodist
Church, corner of Ferdinand and Mountain Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.
Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel Sunday.
