Annette Sue Morgan and EdwardPerry Howard were married October 9, 1993, in
Cave Spring Baptist Church, with the Reverend Charles Hoffler officiating. The
reception was held at Cave Spring Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Thematron of
honor was Brenda M. Tuck, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Andrea F.
Trent, Emily E. Meador, and Cindy Nichols, all friends of the bride. Carmen
Roberts, niece of the groom, was flowergirl. The best man was Elmer P. Howard,
father of the groom. The ushers were Terry Harris, Kevin Morris, and Gary
Harris, all friends of the groom. The candlelighters were Terry Harris and
Kevin Morris. The guestbook was attended by Mrs. Pat Moody, and
programattendant was Mr. John Moody. The bride wore a white silk floor length
gown, with lace cutouts and lace trim, accented with sequins and pearls. She
carried acascading bouquet of ivy, pink and white roses and white orchids. The
bouquets were made by Mrs. Gina Roberts, sister of the groom. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Morgan ofBedford. She is a graduate of
Staunton River High School and LynchburgCollege. She is employed by First
Union National Bank of Virginia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer P.
Howard of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School, and is
employed by the U.S. Postal Service. The newlyweds will live in Salem, after
their wedding cruise to the Bahamas.
