Carrie Diane Brown, of Roanoke, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Virginia LetcherCarter, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Courtney Moffett Nanninga, of Savannah, Ga., both friends of the bride; and Mary Elizabeth Pequeno, of Winter Park, Fla., sister of the groom.
Stephen Nall Jones, of Florence, S.C., friend of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Roberto CarlosPequeno, brother of the groom, David Patrick Dietric and James Donald Grubbs, friends of the groom, all of Winter Park, Fla.
The bride wore a traditional gown of white silk shantung with bodice and puff sleeves of Alencon lace beaded in pearls and sequins. The full skirt extended to a cathedral length train. The dropped waist was embellished with a braid of silk and pearls. Her headpiece was a matching braid of silk and pearls with a fingertip veil and blusher. She carried a bouquet of white lilies.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Fitch Brown, of Roanoke, Va. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and received her B.A. at Salem College in Winston-Salem, N.C. She is employed as a retail sales executive at the Winston-Salem Journal.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Pedro Arturo Pequeno, of Winter Park, Fla. He is a graduate of Rollins College where he received both a B.A. and a M.B.A. He is an assistant Vice-President in the commercial lending group at Southern National Bank in Winston-Salem.
The couple will make their home in Winston-Salem, N.C., after a honeymoon trip to Hilton Head, S.C.
