STRATTON, Mary Virginia, 73, of Salem, died Thursday, October 7, 1993. Born in Lynchburg, she was the wife of Joseph C. Stratton. Survived by other than husband; two sons, Andrew Stratton, Roanoke, Gerald Canody, Woodstock; two sisters, Jean Worley, Lynchburg, Teresa Beal, New Jersey; five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 11, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. A. Howell Franklin officiating. Family to receive friends at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home of Salem Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
