TOWN LEAF COLLECTION SCHEDULED IN 3 PHASES

The town leaf collection schedule will be in three phases, starting with the most heavily forested areas. All quadrants will be visited twice.

Residents should place leaves - piled or in bags - at the curb by the first day of collection in your section of town. Bagged leaves will be collected within two days of notice to the town, regardless of the collection schedule.

To keep piled leaves from blowing, residents should cover them.

Here's the 1993 The leaf collection schedule:

Oct. 22-26: Early collection, east side.

Oct 27-29: Early collection, west side.

Nov. 1-5: Regular collection, southeast quadrant.

Nov. 8-15: Regular collection, northeast quadrant.

Nov. 16-22: Regular collection, southwest quadrant.

Nov. 23-Dec. 3: Regular collection, northwest quadrant.

Dec. 6-10: Return collection, southeast quadrant.

Dec. 13-17: Return collection, northeast qudrant.

Dec. 20-24: Return collection, southwest quadrant.

Dec. 27-31: Return collection, northwest.

Anyone wanting leaves for composting should contact the General Properties Superintendent before mid-month at 961-1145.
