HOSPICE SPONSORS GRIEF WORKSHOPS

New River Hospice, Inc. will sponsor four workshops to help people deal with grief and loss:

Monday, 7-9 p.m., Montgomery Regional Hospital Dining Room, Blacksburg: "Gaining Real Insight for Emotional Functioning When a Loved One Dies" features a panel of people who have lost a spouse, child or parent.

Nov. 1, 7-9 p.m., Room 141 Godbey Hall, New River Community College, Dublin: "On the Road to Healing and Stops Along the Way."

Nov. 15, 7-9 p.m., Eastern Elementary School, U.S. 460, Pembroke: "Helping Families Mourn their Losses."

Dec. 6, 7-9 p.m., First National Bank of Christiansburg, 50 First St., Radford: "When Holidays Become Hollow-Days."
