OBIT WOMMACK, EVELYN KINGERY

WOMMACK, Evelyn Kingery, 62, of Roanoke, died Monday, October 11, 1993, in a local hospital. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph (Joe) B. Wommack; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Randal Wood, Karen and Russell Meiss; son, Joseph R. (Bobby) Wommack; four grandchildren, Kimberly and Rebecca Wood, Shannon and Paul Joseph Meiss, all of Roanoke; two sisters, Hazel Hairfield, Glade Hill; Lilly Mae Stump, Roanoke; two brothers, Robert and Walter Kingery, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Restvale Cemetery, Floyd County. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
