TEEN STREET VETERAN TO SPEAK AT DINNER

The Coalition for Justice will have its monthly beans and rice dinner Monday, starting at 6:30 p.m., at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church. Patrick Hudson will speak.

Hudson, who recently was the subject of a feature article in the New River Current, will talk about life in the streets of Chicago. Now a student at Blacksburg High School, the 15-year-old moved to the area from Chicago last August.

The dinner and program are open to the public. Blacksburg Presbyterian Church is at Church and Eakin streets.
