OBIT PRICE, BERTHA S.

PRICE, Bertha S. 98, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 1993. Survivors include one grandson and wife, Richard and Claudette Price, Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Evelyn Jones, Hollis Queens, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Angelia Jones, Richard Scott-Price, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Jarrod Banks, Brooklyn, N.Y.; niece, Margaret Gibson, Beckley, W.Va.; two nephews, James Nowlin, Cleveland, Ohio, Leon Nowlin, Beckley, W.Va.; adopted daughter; and granddaughter, Ruby Dawson, and Cheryl, both of Roanoke; a host of adopted grandchildren; other relatives; and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Glorious Church of God in Christ, with General Field Elder Eugene Cottle officiating. Burial will be Monday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, W.Va. The family will receive friends Friday, 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
