OBIT TOLBERT, ROBERT LLOYD

TOLBERT, Robert Lloyd, 56, of Roanoke, passed away suddenly, Thursday, October 14, 1993, at his home. He was member of Vinton Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge of Roanoke. He was a supervisor for Commercial Courier. Surviving are his two loving friends and ex-wifes, Peggy Ann Tobert, Hardy, Gwen Tolbert Nichols, Roanoke; two stepchildren, Tim Porterfield, Phoenix, Ariz., Ted Porterfield, Roanoke; half brother, Jimmy Harris, Saltville; two stepsisters; three stepgrandchildren, Courtney, Kendra, and Heather Porterfield. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 1993, at the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Friday.
