OBIT COX, ROLAND JUNIOR

COX, Roland Junior, 64, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Laurel Fork, passed away Monday, October 11, 993 at Marion Community Hospital, Ocala, Fla. He was born January 4, 1929 in Carroll County a son of the late James Allen Cox and Laura Sutphin Cox. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Cox, Ocala, Fla.; one daughter, Laura Jean Gullett, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; one sister, Helen Jenkins, Hillsville; three brothers, Basil Cox, Collinsville, Fred Cox, Annandale, Kenneth Cox, Arlington. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 15, 1993 1 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Harold Fenstermaker. Burial will be in the Laurel Fork Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
