OBIT PHILLIPS, BURMAN OTHAR
PHILLIPS, Burman Othar, 84, of Radford, passed away Thursday, October 14,
1993 at Radford Community Hospital. He was a member of the First Pentecostal
Holiness Church and was a retired supervisor of Lynchburg Foundry, with 40
years of service. Survivors include three sons, Donald E. Phillips of
Christiansburg, Randolph O. and David A. Phillips, both of Radford; two
sisters, Mrs. Etta DeHart of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Glenna Perdue of Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral
services will be held Sunday 3 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church,
with Pastor Edward Wood officiating. Interment will follow in West View
Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
