VOTE FOR LIBRARY IS VOTE FOR KNOWLEDGE

The American Association of University Women promotes quality education for women and children. Learning doesn't just happen in schools, and it doesn't end with a high school diploma, a baccalaureate degree or even a doctorate. Libraries support lifelong development. They are particularly helpful to people on fixed incomes whose budgets limit buying books. These often include young people, single-parent families and senior citizens.

The future of Montgomery County will rest on the educational achievements of its individual residents. Support the bond referendum for renovating the branch in Blacksburg. Its resources are county resources, and its rehabilitation will be yet another positive step forward in demonstrating that Montgomery County residents are progressive and are ready to enter the information age of the 21st century.

Wanting a renovated library is one thing. Demonstrating your citizenship by voting is what will make it happen. Please vote "Yes" on the bond referendum Nov. 2.
