Melissa Lynn Thorn and Mark Steven Day were married on September 5, 1993,
at 2:00 p.m. in an outdoor wedding at the bride's home in Blacksburg. The
Reverend Gordon Lee of the Centennial Christian Church officiated. Melissa is
the daughter of Danny and Joyce Thorn, of Blacksburg, Va. Mark is the son of
Verna and the late Arthur Day, of Andersonville, Tenn. The bride's attendants
were her sisters, Dana Keith and Mary Thorn, of Blacksburg, and her friend,
Kathy Felch, of Alexandria, Va. The groom's attendants were his brother, Billy
Day, and his friends, Marvin Seibers, of Lafollette, Tenn., and Barry Keith,
of Blacksburg, Va. Mark's son, Steven, also took part in the wedding by
walking the mother of the bride down the aisle. A pig roast served as the
reception following the wedding. Mark and Melissa will make their home in
Clinton, Tenn., where Melissa is a customer service rep. for Screen Art, and
Mark is a sales and service rep. for Russell'sArchery.
