The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Woolwine of Shawsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Crockett of North Tazewell, Virginia.
Escorted to the altar by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an elegant white satin gown featuring a sabrina neckline. Theelongated basque bodice was heavilydecorated with schiffli lace, sequins and pearls. The full skirt had motifs of lace and pearls and extended to cathedral train. The bride's headpiece was a tiara of pearls with pouf in the back. The veiling was fingertip length. She carried abouquet of silk roses, miniaturecarnations, stephanotis and baby's breath.
Matron of honor was Linda Poff of Christiansburg, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rhonda Holbrook of Radford, and Linda Grissom of Christiansburg, both friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Cristy Poff, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Dawn Woolwine, niece of the bride.
Best man was Craig Young ofRichlands, friend of the groom. Ushers were Barry Duncan of Christiansburg, and Steve Black of Radford, both friends of the groom. Junior usher was Robbie Pannell of Shawsville. Ringbearer was Bryan Woolwine, nephew of the bride.
Lannie Twine of Elliston provided the wedding music and was also the featured vocalist. The wedding was directed by Cindy Hale and the guest book attendant was Glena King, both of Elliston.
A reception was given by the family of the bride in the church fellowship hall. Brenda Laue, Carolyn Woolwine, and Sandy Folden assisted at the reception.
The bride is a graduate of Shawsville High School and the groom is a graduate of VPI College of Engineering. Both are employed by Litton Poly-Scientific of Blacksburg.
After the honeymoon, the newlyweds will reside in Christiansburg.
