The reception was held at the Vines Botanical Gardens.
The couple spent their wedding trip on a Caribbean cruise.
The bride is a graduate of Cave Spring High School, Roanoke, Virginia, and a student at Southeastern Louisiana University.
The groom is a graduate of Shades Valley High School in Birmingham, Alabama, and is now attending Southeastern Louisiana University.
The couple resides in Hammond, Louisiana.
The bride is the granddaughter of Edna Boris of Roanoke, Virginia, and Mable Prater of Atkins, Virginia. The bride's great-grandmothers are Margie Greer of Saltville, Virginia, and Bessie Prater of Marion, Virginia.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Green, Sr., of Montgomery, Alabama.
