MAN WHO SHOT AT OFFICER SOUGHT

The officer was answering a call about a domestic dispute in the southwest area of the county when the man fired several shots and fled the scene, Lt. L.J. Wade said Saturday night.

The officer was not hit.

Police were using search dogs to try to find the subject, but the search was called off just before midnight with the man still at large, Wade said.

No other information was available Saturday.
