OBIT MORRIS, ROY HUBERT

MORRIS, Roy Hubert, 79, of Route 3, Rocky Mount, died Friday evening, October 15, 1993, at the local hospital. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor English Morris, and retired as manager of the Rocky Mount Virginia ABC Store, after many years of service. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Edgar (Eddie) and Betty Morris, Ridgeway; grandchildren, Kathy Hiatt and Ken Morris; one great-grandchild, Hillary Morris; one brother, Wilson Morris, Rocky Mount; two sisters, Garnett Shively, Newark, Del., Sallie Kate Baker, Elkton, Md.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, High Street Cemetery, 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Glenn E. Clements and Rev. T. Ivey Adams Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
