OBIT ALEXANDER, BERTISDEAN

ALEXANDER Bertisdean Miss Bertisdean Alexander, 84, of Lexington, died Friday, October l5, l993, in a local nursing home. A daughter of the late Mr. Charles H. Alexander and the late Mrs. Edmonia S. Alexander; she was born July 18, 1909 in Rockbridge Co. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Catherine A. Lee, and Miss Jane Alexander, both of Lexington; six nieces; and three nephews. Friends may call at the residence,502 Maury Street, Lexington at anytime, and at the Lewis Funeral Home from 2 -5 p.m. on Sunday, October l7, l993. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October l8, l993, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lexington with the Rev. James B. Harris, Minister. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
