MASTER CHORALE CONCERT

The Blacksburg Master Chorale will present Johannes Brahms' choral poem Nanie and Ludwig van Beethoven's Mass in C Major on Friday at 8 p.m. at the Blacksburg Baptist Church, South Main Street. Craig Fields will direct. Soloists will be Kathryn Gardner, soprano; Rita Litchfield-Good, mezzo-soprano; Gary Fulsebakke, tenor; and Wayne Kompelien, bass. James Glazebrook will conduct a 30-member orchestra.

Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors. They are available by calling 953-1559. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
