OBIT GROSS, DOROTHY RAYO WILMER

GROSS, Dorothy Rayo Wilmer 81, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, October 18, 1993. She was the widow of Henry Larry Gross. Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis G. Thurman of Thaxton, and Geraldine G. Simmons of Roanoke; one sister, Mildred Dobbs of Salem; also eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 1993, from Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. The Rev. Carter Sloan will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital. Lotz Vinton Chapel in charge of arrangements.
