OBIT WADE, CHARLIE PERRY

WADE, Charlie Perry, 84, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, October 15, 1993. He was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church in Franklin County at an early age. He was a veteran of World War II. He leaves to mourn two brothers, John Thomas (Lucille) Wade of Roanoke, Reed Grover Wade of Norfolk; two sisters, Mabel Wade Conner of Roanoke, Sallie Ann Jamison of Sydnorsville; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday 1 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Rocky Mount, with the Rev. J. A. Keaton officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar-Crutis Funeral Home.
