OBIT KEMP, RUTH GRUBB

KEMP, Ruth Grubb, 94, of Blacksburg, died Monday, October 18, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mrs. Kemp was born April 15, 1899, to the late Emory Lee and Susan L. Rosenbaum Grubb. She operated a beauty salon in Blacksburg for many years. Surviving are nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John LeMaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Jennelle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
