The Highlanders' Tom Lesperance finished third individually, adding a 74 to his opening round of 76. Paul Necessary of Powell Valley was the individual champion with rounds of 72-72-144.
Also competing for Glenvar, which won the state title in 1991 and finished second last year, were Nick Varney (75-80-155), Tom Harrell (83-81-164), Chadd Yeatts (78-87-165), Rob Robinson (85-87-172) and Ryan Antolini (92-100-192).
Other Timesland individuals competing were Andrew Wagner of Giles who finished at 85-81-167 and George Wythe's Jon Ervin (78-78-156), Brian Love (79-89-168) and Jeff Troy (97-97-194).

In Front Royal, William Byrd finished second behind Brookville in the Group AA tournament at Bowling Green Country Club.
The Terriers, the 1992 champions, added a score of 318 to their opening 321 to finish at 639, 11 shots behind the Bees.
Chip Glover of Fort Defiance won the individual championship with rounds of 73-73-146.
Evan Maxey was William Byrd's top finisher, with rounds of 83 and 74. Other Byrd players were Ryan Ketron (79-79-158), Chris Turner (80-81-161), Kevin Divers (82-86-168), Chris McVey (80-91-171) and Brian Saunders (87-84-171).
Dwayne Dodson of Magna Vista finished fifth individually at 78-76-154. Other Timesland golfers competing were Eric Pitches of Bassett at 76-79-155, Brian Hill of Northside (78-78-156) and Mark Sweeney of Lord Botetourt (81-81-162).
In South Boston, Great Bridge won the team title and Conlin Giles of Maury took the individual crown in Group AAA.
Great Bridge finished with a 43-over-par 611 total on the par-71 Greens Folley Golf Course.
In the individual competition, Giles finished at 147. Cave Spring's Doug Kenney was 13th overall at 158. The sophomore struggling home 7 over on the last four holes.
