CANDIDATES' FORUM OCT. 28 IN MONTGOMERY

A candidates' forum will be held Oct. 28, 7:30 p.m., at the Montgomery County Courthouse. The forum will include the 8th District candidates for the Virginia House of Delegates - Morgan Griffith, Republican, and Howard Packett, Democrat.

Also, candidates for the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors from District C: James M. Smith, the challenger, and Joe C. Stewart, the incumbent; and District D: Henry Jablonski, the incumbent, and James E. Martin, the challenger.

District A will be represented by James E. Moore, the incumbent, who is running unopposed.

The audience may submit questions in writing.

This event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County, the American Association of University Women, the Coalition for Community and the Montgomery County Council of Parent-Teacher Associations.
