KANDINSKY TRIO, VIOLINIST PERFORM AT OLIN THEATER

The Kandinsky Trio chamber ensemble will perform with violinist Charles Castleman on Saturday oct23 at Roanoke College's Olin Theater.

Castleman is a top prize-winner in the international Tchaikovsky, Brussels and Leventritt competitions. Violist Leonard Schranze, a chamber music teacher based in South Carolina, also will join the Kandinsky Trio and Castleman.

The 8 p.m. concert will feature Haydn's Trio in E Minor and Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-Flat, Op. 44.

Tickets for the concert are $7 and are available by calling the box office at 375-2333.
