OBIT-FERGUSON, RUTH TOMS

FERGUSON, Ruth Toms, 87, of Roanoke, died Thursday, October 21, 1993 in a Salem hospital. She was the widow of Gilbert Lee Ferguson and a retired employee of Kenrose Manufacturing Company. Surviving are a brother, William H. Toms of Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews including Jack Toms of Roanoke and Joseph Toms of Glendora, N.J.; three dear friends, Debbie Stutler, Betty Blevins, both of Roanoke, Howard Kirby of N.J. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 12 noon Saturday with the Rev. Dewey V. Page officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
