OBIT-PADGETT, JOE R.

PADGETT, Joe R., 60, of Hillsville, passed away Thursday, October 21, 1993, at Twin County Community Hospital. He was born October 1, 1933, in Carroll County to Harrison Padgett and Myrtis Martin Padgett. He is survived by his wife, Betty Reynolds Padgett; son, Joey Grey Padgett, Hillsville; mother, Mrs. Myrtis M. Padgett, Hillsville; sister, Mrs. Clevo (Erthyl) Dalton, Hillsville; brothers, Ottie Padgett, Guy R. Padgett, Jim Padgett, Don Padgett, all of Hillsville. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 1993, at the Hillsville First Baptist Church with Dr. William Gunter officiating. Burial to follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville. Funeral arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
