Susan Frances Harnack and Teddy Dwayne Crowe were united in marriage on
October 23, 1993, in Mount Union Church of the Brethren, Bent Mtn. The Rev.
Gary Edwards was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held in the
church fellowship hall. The matron of honor was Kathleen DeWeese, sister of
the bride. The bridesmaids were Cheryl Harnack, sister of the bride; and
Debbie Locke, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Kristen DeWeese, niece of
the bride. The best man was Robert Perdue, friend of the groom. The ushers
were Mark Stump, friend of the groom; Bruce DeWeese, brother-in-law of the
bride; and Preston Edwards, friend of the groom. Ringbearer was Dustin
Williams, second cousin of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Jodi
Beckner, friend of the bride and groom. The bride is the daughter of Edwin L.
Harnack, Jr., of Bent Mtn., Va., and Iris Harnack of Severn, Md. She graduated
from Cave Spring High School and isemployed by Lewis-Gale Regional Cancer
Center. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kermit C. Crowe of Roanoke. He is
a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is employed by Carilion
Transportation Services, Inc. The newlyweds will live on Bent Mtn., after a
wedding trip to Rockingham, N.C., and Orlando, Fla.
