JONES-DODD

Tara Suzanne Dodd and Steven Daniel Jones were united in marriage on October 22, 1993 in Lynn Haven Baptist Church. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Wayne C. Harrison. The reception was held at the Vinton War Memorial.

The maids of honor were Stacey Edmunds and Kristi Carter, friends of the bride. The bridesmaids were Shannon Ritchie, sister of the groom; Karen Gray and Julie Zollman, friends of the bride. Sara Dodd, niece of the bride, was the flowergirl. Bruce Jones served as his son's best man. The ushers were Thomas Wilcox, step-father of the groom; Steve Blasch, John Gray and Robert Bishop, friends of the groom. Joshua Dodd, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer. Richard Dodd and Kenneth Dodd, brothers of the bride, were the candlelighters. Special music wasprovided by Kara Johnson, friend of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Shannon Savage, cousin of the bride. The wedding director was Barbara Snider.

Tara is the daughter of Harold and Connie Dodd of Vinton. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and Radford University, and is employed by Roanoke City Schools. Steven is the son of Bruce and Sharon Jones of Roanoke and Thomas and Lynn Wilcox of Bristol, Va. He is a graduate of Northside High School,attended VWCC, and is employed by Sam's Club.

Following their wedding trip, the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke.
