MARCHIONDA-PRESSWOOD

On October 23, 1993, Carol Presswood and John Marchionda were united in marriage at Saint Andrew's Church. Father Joseph Metzger, III officiated at the 7:30 p.m. ceremony. The reception was held at The Patrick Henry Hotel.

Cathy Rhyne, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Patricia Marchionda, sister of the groom; Pamela Rhyne, niece of the bride; Angela Barnes, Stephanie Bundy, Ginger Bullington, and Kelly Workman, friends. Carmine Marchionda, brother of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were Brian Cole, Pat Cusack, Sam Samman, Jim Rhyne, and Steve Merusi, friends. The guestbook was attended by Linda Hodges.

Carol is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Presswood of Archdale, N.C. Sheis a graduate of North Carolina State University and is employed by Maid Bess Corp. John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carmine Marchionda of Bloomingdale, N.J. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and is pursuing his MBA at VPI. He is employed by Alcatel Cable.

Following a cruise to the Southern Caribbean, the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke.
