At Salem, Julie Struther's second-half goal paced Roanoke College to a 2-1 win over Mary Washington (8-6-1) in a women's game. Lisa Franzino had the other goal for Roanoke (9-6-1).
In Radford, Che Henderson knocked in a second-half penalty kick as Radford upset Campbell 2-1 in a Big South Conference men's game.
Troy Broadbent gave the Highlanders (3-12-2 overall, 2-4-1 Big South) a 1-0 lead early in the second half, but the Camels (13-3, 7-1) tied the score on a Rick Dierbeck goal. One minute later, Henderson hit the penalty kick, which gave Radford the lead for good.
In Lynchburg, Ferrum (9-5-1) and host Sweet Briar (2-10-1) played to a 0-0 tie after two overtimes in a women's non-conference game. The Panthers outshot Sweet Briar 28-12.
In Williamsburg, Julie Seamon knocked in three goals as host William and Mary whipped Virginia Tech 8-0 in a non-conference women's game.
William and Mary (10-3-1) blasted the Hokies (6-7-1) with 35 shots. Tech only managed one shot on goal.
