OBIT PAINTER, ANNIE LEE

PAINTER, Annie Lee, 85, of Glasgow, formerly of Lynchburg, died Friday, October 22, 1993 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born September 2, 1908 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Rosalee Scott Painter. She was a member of Glasgow Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Leech and Mrs. Bessie P. Slough, of Glasgow; one brother, William Franklin (Frank) Painter, of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the Glasgow Cemetery, with Rev. William K. Leach officiating. The family will receive friends at the homes of the brother or sisters. Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington, is in charge of arrangements.
