OBIT BROYLES, JOHN E.

BROYLES, John E., 70, of Richmond, died Thursday, October 21, 1993 at his home. Born March 5, 1923 in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of the late John E. and Annie Candler Broyles. Mr. Broyles was a retired U. S. Government employee, a WWII U. S. Army and Air Force veteran, having served twelve years in the military. He was a member of the American Legion Post #141 in Richmond, Va., and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Everette (Elizabeth) Graham of Christiansburg, Va.; two brothers, James H. Broyles Sr. and his wife, Christine, of Salem, Herbert Broyles and his former wife, Beatrice W. Broyles, of Highland Springs, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 1993, at the Broyles Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, W. Va., with Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Burial will follow in the Peterstown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
